CNY Young Artists Live!

Our favorite concert of the year is upon us where the most talented high-school-aged classical musicians perform.
Featured young artists, in program order, are Abigail Feng, Colin Chin, Eric Lee, Alexa Rose Battaglia, Max Clark, Ethan Wong, Will Lesser, Sean Alvaro, Holly Adamski, and Ava Tyler. The collaborative pianists playing in this concert are Paola Budani, Robbie Padilla, and Ida Tili-Trebicka.
Though most Sundays LIVE! concerts have a $25 admission, the Young Artists concert is always free.
CMM (Civic Morning Musicals) exists to support classically-trained musicians and their audiences throughout the Central New York region. We are a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, which produces more than 30 concerts a year and sponsors activities for young musicians.

We invite you to enjoy the music of the most talented young classical musicians from Central New York. Each year, the CMM Young Artists Live! concert features winners from various music competitions in the CNY region.
This year’s musicians are Rosee Head, Lindsay Hebert, Charlie Loh, Olivia Walberger, Karina Balian, Andrej Dovčiak, Dominic Fiacco, Gerard McCrohan, Kate O’Leary, Xavier Plourde, Natalie Roswick, Hannah Swyulski, Alex Wu, and Aiden Usher. We also feature an original composition by Ebun Oguntola.

Soprano Kathleen Roland-Silverstein, violinist William Knuth, and pianist Dan Sato present “Song and Strings”, the third concert on our 2021 CMM Live! series. This varied program includes songs in Swedish, English, Saami (Finland), Hungarian, French, and Italian, representing composers from all over the globe, including an American premiere of song settings of indigenous Lapland, in the far north of Finland. This song and three other sets are by outstanding women composers from America, the U.K., and Finland.

Soprano Ivy Walz, cellist Zach Sweet, and pianist Pej Reitz return to Syracuse! Our second CMM Live! concert, titled “Reflections”, will feature music by Andre Previn, Coleridge-Taylor Perkins, Florence Price, Jean Berger, Jake Heggie, Moses Hogan, and more.
